Start Close In

January 9, 2019

“ Start close in,

don’t take the second step

or the third,

start with the first thing

close in,

the step you don’t want to take.”

– David White

Start close in.

I challenge you to step into a Year of Conscious Transitions in which you honor and celebrate the past, cross thresholds, and meet the future with gratitude and joy.

Poets, prophets, shamans and mystics remind us that death makes life precious. We know logically that all living things die. Our anxiety, fears and attachments keep us from discovering the treasures of living fully while knowing that death is inevitable.

My goal for 2019, is to prepare my important documents – Living Will, Medical Durable Power of Attorney, Financial Power of Attorney and so much more.

Do you want to join me? I will write blogs, share workbooks, videos and other resources to help you navigate the journey with ease.

Does this topic make you anxious and afraid? Good.

Your job is to allow your fears to surface, write them down and find the courage to have the needed conversations with yourself, family members, friends and the professionals who are available to assist you.

Let's get started together.

Take up the challenge. Take the first step.

I've created a free 6-page workbook, Conscious Transitions – Winter 2019, as a guide to helping you get started. It includes worksheets, thought-provoking questions, ceremony, resources and more.

Take the first step.
