Privacy

 

We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a donation or register for a workshop on our site, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, mailing address, and a phone number. We use this information to process your orders and donations and to keep you updated on our activities.  We do not share your personal information with any other individuals, organizations or institutions. Our secure servers protect your information using advanced encryption techniques and firewall technology.

 

Personal information that participants share in classes or workshops is not shared with others.  Testimonials and evaluations of classes, presentations and teachers will be shared within the organization and with our accrediting agencies. 

 

Donations

 

We appreciate your donations to The Living & Dying Consciously Project and make it our practice to acknowledge donations by sending a gift, of your choice from our selection, within the designated donation level.  Gifts may be returned or exchanged if they are defective in some way.  We will cover the cost of shipping from us to you. You may also donate to the Project and opt not to receive a gift. The Living & Dying Consciously Project is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States.

 

Limitations

 

The Living & Dying Consciously Project does not prescribe treatment for any psychological, medical, or physical condition.  We provide information as a public service about techniques of conscious living and dying.  None of our activities are intended to be, and none should be construed as medical services or advice. 

 

Program Tuition, Fees, Refunds and Cancellations

 

Tuition for workshops may vary due to location, number of presenters, or travel expenses.  Tuition, minus registration fees, will be fully reimbursed if cancellation is completed seven days before the start of a workshop.  If cancellation is completed less than seven days from the start time of the workshop, only 50% of the tuition will be reimbursed, minus registration fees.  Tuition, not registration fees, may be applied to future workshops of the same title. 

 

Resolution of Complaints and Disputes

 

Participants may address the Board of Directors of The Living & Dying Consciously Project with any complaints about our programs, presentations and products.  The Board will address complaints within a sixty day period from receiving the complaint in writing. The Board of Directors reserves the right to engage mediators to assist in resolving complaints.
